Saumarjyoti Vidyalaya has completed three decades. From a very humble beginning with just seven students on the roll, the School has emerged, during this period, as a leading educational institution of the State. Our teachers, students and, above all, our alumni have shown that it is possible to impart quality education through the medium of the mother tongue and excel in different arenas. Our guardians, alumni and well wishers have been our strength, especially in view of the fact that Saumarjyoti is a non-profit making institution and that it has never received any government grants. We thank our dear alumni for offering valuable assistance for creating facilities in the library-cum-reading room. We invite them to associate themselves with their alma mater and help it grow more vibrant and strive for excellence.  ....
